Walker Texas Law Firm Supports Motorcycle Ride that Benefits the 100 Club
Houston,Texas (Marketwire) March 25, 2009—Houston personal injury lawyers at the Walker Texas law firm were out in force on Saturday, March 21 to support the Back the Badge Ride.
In its second year, the Back the Badge Ride is a fundraiser for the 100 Club, a well-regarded charity that assists families of Houston Police Officers. It was founded in 1953 by 100 men, each contributing $100 to help the families of Houston Police Officers who were killed in the line of duty. The 100 Club continues to provide life-protecting equipment, most notably bullet-proof vests,
scholarship and other educational opportunities for members of the law enforcement community in Houston.

He has a great deal of respect for the hundreds of local motorcycle riders who have shown their generosity to many Houston charitable endeavors. In last weekend’s Back the Badge Ride, each participant donated $100 for the two-hour ride which began in Spring, Texas and ended at the San Jacinto Harley Davidson on I-45. The event raised $16,000, surpassing the $15,000 from 2007 to benefit the dependents of police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
